Specifications: Due to different measurement and production processes of trapezoidal belt manufacturers, varying length specifications may arise from one manufacturer to another. However, these differences do not affect the functionality of the belts. Due to various industrial standards, different parameters are used to determine length specifications. A distinction is made between outer length (abbreviated as Le), inner length (abbreviated as Li), and pitch length. The pitch length describes the measurement of length at approximately 3/4 of the height of the belt according to DIN 2215. Additionally, for reliable length measurement, the tension of the belt specified by the vehicle manufacturer must also be considered, as this is an important factor in the production process. Due to these different measurement methods, varying trapezoidal belt sizes may occur from different manufacturers on the same vehicle. Please refer exclusively to our vehicle distribution. Dayco Power Plus belts are characterized by a core made of aramid fibers, which provides the belt with optimal temperature resistance and thus allows for less elongation, especially at startup, as well as twice the wear resistance compared to those made of polyester.
